Review Guidelines

Honest reviews help other hosts decide. These guidelines explain who can leave a review on bnbtools.com, how we check and publish reviews, and how the reviews you see were collected.

Who can leave a review

• Verified buyers only. You can review a product you bought through the private review link in your library or in the review-request email we send about 10 days after your order. Reviews left this way show a "Verified buyer" badge.
• One review per product per order. You can edit your review for 30 days after you first submit it (an edited review is checked again before it reappears).
• We ask for honest feedback, good or bad. We never offer money, discounts, free products or other rewards for reviews, and we never ask only happy customers to review.
• Employees, family members and anyone connected to BNB Tools don't review our products. If someone with a connection to us ever shares an opinion on the Site, we'll say so clearly.

What we publish

We publish every genuine review about our products, whether positive or negative, once it has been checked. We remove or don't publish a review only if it:

• contains abuse, harassment, hate speech, threats or sexually explicit content;
• is spam, advertising or clearly fake (for example, identical text posted under different names);
• isn't about our products or the buying experience (for example, a review of a hotel or restaurant);
• contains private information (phone numbers, addresses, other people's names or personal details) that we can't simply remove;
• infringes someone else's rights (for example, a photo you don't have the right to share).

We apply these rules the same way to positive and negative reviews. We don't edit what you write (apart from removing private information, with a note), and a low star rating is never a reason to remove a review. We may reply publicly to a review as "Reply from BNB Tools".

Photos and your name

You can add up to three photos. We remove hidden information such as location data (EXIF/GPS) from every photo. Your review shows the display name you choose (by default your first name and last initial), the product, the languages you use and the month you bought. Your email address is never shown. You must agree before your review is shown publicly; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle review data. To change or remove your review, email info@bnbtools.com.

Reviews from our previous store

Before go.bnbtools.com, we sold through a Shopify store at bnbtools.com, where reviews were collected by a third-party reviews app. We imported those reviews. Imported reviews don't carry the "Verified buyer" badge. When we moved them, we checked every one against the rules above and don't display imported reviews that have the same text as another review, are dated before the product they describe was on sale, or aren't about our products. The star rating and review count on the Site are calculated only from the reviews we display.
